Sit4Less - A Short History

I recently came across a November 2010 article on the website Brain Pickings about an 800 page book titled, The Story of Eames Furniture. No doubt this design duo has had an incredible impact on architecture and furniture, as well as graphic design, fine art and film, and has left a legacy that can be seen and felt ... everywhere it seems. But the article did more than make me think about the Eames history, it made me wonder about the Sit4Less history. We all have one, a history that is, and that history is an important part of who we are and who we are trying to be. It may not fill 800 pages, but every thing started somewhere.
For Sit4Less it all started in 1994, when its virtual doors were opened with the goal of delivering the best ergonomic chairs at the best prices, quickly to offices (of all sizes) across the United States. There was a time when our favorite office chair, for example the Aeron, wasn't available for the small office or home office to purchase direct from the manufacturer. Sit4Less.com was one of the first retailers to offer these iconic brands to the public, brands like Herman Miller, Steelcase, Knoll, Haworth, and many others. Over the years, Sit4Less has been able to use it relationships with these manufacturers to offer the best selection and support when it comes to office seating.
Sit4Less is the leading source of the most desirable ergonomic seating and accessories and since its inception it has expanded its selection to include names like Inada, Humantouch, and Offices 2 Go. The right chair, at the right price, right now isn't just a slogan, but a promise! It's exciting to see a brand develop and change over the years, but at Sit4Less some things never change - 100% customer satisfaction, free shipping, 110% price guarantee, and 365 day no hassle returns.
